Within Reach

I recently modeled the entire human figure following an excellent course on Udemy by Riven Phoenix. It's a completely "formula based" box modeling methodology with great insight on altering the topology flow to match up with the body's musculature. It's a pretty long course, but definitely worth the time.

I then created a simple rig for the model and started working on several different ideas with it, this being one of them. The textures shown here are all procedural and all produced in Blender.

The final image was rendered in Cycles with very minor post production tweaks in Photoshop.
